Motivational Monday- The Pursuit Of Happyness

A few weeks ago I woke up at 5.30 on a Saturday morning, for anyone that knows me that is a very rare occasion. However I was up early and excited for the busy day I had ahead of me at the “Success in London” event in London excel. They had some great speakers including Duncan Bannatyne, Les Brown and the headline act Chris Gardner (The author of “The Pursuit of Happiness”).

Chris was really interesting, he is a huge guy who controls the room, he has such an aura about him you cannot help but be memorised by his story. Chris is the ultimate comeback story, from living on the street with his 14 month old son to being a wealthy stockbroker. He never gave up, everything was against him he was sleeping in toilets to get out of the cold. It would have been so easy to give up, but he took the decision to fight and make something of his life. Its a great story and we should all think about how we can move our business forward.

Maybe your business is struggling, maybe you are not making the money you set out to achieve when you first started. However this can change its in you to change your business and move it forward, what are you going to do today to change your business for the better?
