How to Get Your Content Indexed In Google FASTER

How to Get Your Content Indexed In Google FASTER

When you publish a new blog post there are a number of elements that influence how soon Google indexes it. Here’s how to get your content indexed in google FASTER!

Before you start thinking about search engine optimization tactics for your website, you should think about how Google indexes it.

Your website will be almost invisible to search searches if Google does not index it, which will effectively eliminate your organic web traffic. It’s crucial to understand that Google crawls the internet to find new web pages. As a result, Google will add new pages to its index (often referred to as indexing).

The most common reason a site isn’t indexed is that it’s too new. Be patient (and request that Google crawl and index it)! Other common causes for a website include crawl errors, you violate Google Webmaster Guidelines, etc.

What is a web index, exactly?

An index is a list of information in its most basic form. Indexes, such as the alphabetical indexes at the end of books, existed long before the Internet.

A web index, then, is an online database of information.

These databases are used by search engines to hold billions of pages of data. As a result, when you use a search engine, you aren’t actually searching the entire Internet.

Here’s a quick rundown of these free Google products if you’re not already aware with them:

  • Google Analytics: Tracks information about your website’s visitors, such as how long they stayed on the site, which pages they visited, and where they came from.
  • Google Search Console (previously known as Google Webmaster Tools): It helps you to keep track of things like when your website was last scanned, any indexing errors, security risks, and so on.

You can also manually upload sitemaps and adjust several critical parts of how you appear in search results using Search Console, which I’ll go into later in this article.

Why Do You Need Google to Index Your Site?

Do you want to increase the amount of organic search traffic to your website?

I’m ready to wager that you do — we all do! The importance of organic search traffic in the growth of your website and business cannot be overstated.

How To Request Google To Index Your Content FASTER

Although it may seem simple, many businesses are unaware that they may use the Google Search Console to request an indexing directly from Google.

  1. Log into the Google Search Console.
  2. Navigate to the URL Inspection tool.
  3. Paste the URL you’d like Google to index into the search bar.
  4. Google will check the URL.
  5. Click the “Request Indexing” button.

Select your website in Search Console. Then select Settings > Crawl Stats > Open Report from the drop-down menu. Some graphs will look like this:

Google Index Crawl

The first graph depicts how frequently Google crawls your website. The “Crawl requests” graph displays how frequently Google crawls my site each day.

As a general rule, the more crawling you do, the better.

To put it simply:

Faster site = better user experience.

Better user experience = higher search result rankings.
