How To Get Your First 1000 Youtube Subscribers FAST

How To Get Your First 1000 YouTube Subscribers

When it comes to starting and building a YouTube channel I always say that nothing beats experience.  Ive recently got my channel to over 1000 subscribers, let me share how to get your first 1000 YouTube subscribers.

How To Get Your First 1000 YouTube Subscribers

If you want to earn an income from your Youtube videos two things have to happen.  You need 1000 REAL Subscribers and your videos need to have been watched for over 4000 hours.

Notice I say REAL subscribers, no cheating here no buying fake subscribers.  I see tons of FAKE Guru’s buying fake followers and subscribers just to look good.

Honestly a FAKE subscriber does nothing for your business.  In fact it harms your account as it confuses Youtube who your perfect subscriber should be.

So now thats clear let focus on getting your 1000 real subscribers.

Tip 1: Ask them to subscribe to you channel.

It might be bleeding obvious that you want them to subscribe. But if you don’t ask them to subscribe to your channel, you don’t get one. I’ve been asking people to subscribe in my videos recently. The subscription rate will go on a significant change when you do this.

90% of the channels I watch on Youtube never ask for the subscribe.  In my videos I ask them at least twice to subscribe to the channel and hit the bell notification.

Tip 2: Create a subscription link

When you create a subscription link, this will provide a way for your audience to subscribe to your channel with no effort involved by simply clicking on the link.

In the description of every video I post we put a link viewers can click on to subscribe.

It looks like this

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIGpw0arC0zAJbn9UxjYS5g?sub_confirmation=1   (Give it a click and subscribe 🙃)

If you are unsure on how to create that link, don’t worry I have a blog post on exactly that here.

Tip 3: Post content regularly

When you post content regularly, the more the YouTube algorithm is going to love you. Your video views will significantly increase that gives you more opportunities to get subscribers.

Make a commitment that every week you post at a set day and a set time. The more content you post the faster you will get subscribers, I suggest you create a schedule to post and stick with it.

The last thing you want to do it commit to posting daily then giving up in a few weeks.

My clients Ronald & Petrina run a Youtube channel called Planet Wellness.  They have created a schedule where they post every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  This is great so they know what they need to produce each week, their audience love it as they know when to expect more content.

Check out their channel here.

Tip 4: Share your videos on social media

Share the YouTube videos that you produce on your social platforms Twitter, on Facebook and Instagram.  When you start on Youtube the videos you post are not going to get lots of views.

That means less chance of getting subscribers, so we share the videos on our social platforms to get more views and more subscribers.

Our goal of sharing it to get them to click from Twitter etc over to Youtube to watch our video.

Tip 5: Email your email database on your YouTube videos

Your business probably has an email list already, send an email to your list to go and watch your new video.  Just because they are in your email list does not mean they subscribe to your channel.

Not only that you are giving more value to the people in your email list.  So often people either never email their list, or they just send them offers over and over again.

Tip 6: Place end screens at the end of your videos

At the end of your videos, you can use something called an end screen.

End screens allow you to promote up to four elements. It can point viewers to other videos, playlists or channels on YouTube. This is also a tool you can use to call for subscriptions to your channel.

You can see below, the top left I am pushing people to another video.  Bottom left I am sending them to a playlist of videos, and on the right I have my subscribe button.

Tip 7: Pin your own comment in your YouTube videos.

YouTube recently allowed the channel owners to pin down the comments. When you pin down a comment, it will be the first thing viewers see in the comment section. This is a great way to promote your videos and other content in your comments section.

See here I have pinned a comment suggesting they subscribe.

Tip 8: Collaborate with other channels

Another way that has worked as well for me is to collaborate with other channels. By collaborating with those other channels, people will go and search for you and you may get to mention your channel, and so on . And they’ll subscribe to your channel from that.
